I graduated GDHS in 1983.
I was born in Italy and lived there till I was 14 years old.
Moved to Canada in 1978, to Limehouse to stay with my cousins while our House was been built in Glen Williams. I went to Stewarttown School for grade 8 in 1978-79. Moved to Glen Williams in 1979. Attended Georgetown District High School from 1979-83.
I lived on Confederation St. (where my father still lives today).
Went to Sheridan College in Brampton and graduated in 1985. While in High School I worked part time at the Georgetown Fruit Market.
I moved to Brampton in 1989. Had several jobs in Retail Management in Shoppers World, and Square one. My son Joshua was born in 1991. I moved to Kitchener in 1992, where I still live today.
My daughter Bellina was born in 1995. After two bad relationships, I met the man of my dreams. Married David Bowman in 1999.
For 19 years I worked in Retail Management. Now I work in a Nursing Home. I write poetry on my spare time, I’ve had a few published.
My time in Georgetown was memorable. I can’t say I enjoyed my years in High School, but the memories still remain. I really didn’t make any lasting friends, other than one friend (Carol Squier (now Medeiros) ) Who I still talk to time to time. I still visit my father often, and every time I drive thru Georgetown, I get this feeling inside, “I’m Home” .
If anyone would like to email me to say “Hello” I would welcome any emails.
Never too late to make friends now!
